Ravi Kumar Kushawaha is an accomplished AI Research Scientist with a strong background in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Reinforcement Learning. He is currently working at qure.ai, where he is responsible for developing and training deep learning models for Classification and Segmentation of musculo-skeletal X-rays, writing production-level code, and performing Data Engineering on Brain CT and MR Dicom images. He works closely with engineering, product, and regulatory teams to ensure the successful implementation of these models. Ravi has a wealth of experience in the field of AI, having previously worked as an AI Research Scientist at qure.ai, where he applied segmentation and deconvolution on 3D brain CT Perfusion scans. He also generated perfusion heatmaps of Celebral Blood Volume(CBV) and Time-to-peak(TTP) and worked on the ISLES18 dataset. Prior to that, he worked as a Machine Learning Quantitative Researcher at trexquant investment lp, where he implemented PCA (Principal Component Analysis) and Convex Optimization to develop medium frequency strategies that predict price dynamics. He also explored a wide range of financial datasets to develop signals for systematic quantitative strategies. Ravi holds a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and an Intermediate degree in Science from Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, Ranchi. He is highly skilled in Research Scientist, AI, Deep Learning, ML, and Reinforcement Learning, among other technologies.
